Northside Hospital-Forsyth Scholarship Programs
The NSF Auxiliary administers three scholarship programs: 1.) Northside Hospital-Forsyth Scholarship; 2.) Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Scholarship and 3.) The Barbara Tumperi Scholarship. In recent years our scholarships have aided future doctors, nurses, pharmacists and medical technicians as they further their education and pursue their dreams. The NSF Auxiliary awarded $10,000 in Scholarships to 4 outstanding students last year! If you have a child or grandchild who meets these requirements or if you volunteer with a nurse or technician who is currently pursuing a health related degree, please encourage them to apply. Northside Hospital-Forsyth Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a health related degree at an accredited college, university or technical school.
To qualify the student must:
- Be a full time or regular part time employee of the Northside Hospital-Forsyth, or
- Be an immediate family member of a full time or regular part time employee of the hospital, or
- Be a current Northside Hospital-Forsyth Auxilian who has served at least 100 hours, or
- Be an immediate family member of an Auxilian who has served at least 100 hours.
- Have at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average in a health related course of study.
- Provide an official transcript.
Provide two (2) letters of reference (either personal or professional).
Be available for a personal interview.
Applications are currently available at the Information Desk, in the Volunteer Office and in Gloria Wyatt's Office. Return no later than March 15th in a sealed envelope to the Information Desk, in the Volunteer Office or Gloria Wyatt's Office (Suite 150, 1400 Building) at Northside Hospital-Forsyth.

Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a health related degree at an accredited college, university or health related technical school.
To qualify the student must:
Be enrolled in a medical/health related course of study.
Have at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average.
Provide an official transcript (not a faxed copy or photocopy).
Provide two (2) letters of reference (from teacher, supervisor or clergy) in a sealed envelope with appropriate letterhead.
Submit a narrative profile of yourself stressing factors relevant to your occupational choice and goals.
Be available for a personal interview.
Return the signed application by January 15th. Applications may be returned to the Information Desk, the Volunteery office or Gloria Wyatt's office. Be sure the signature (page 4) is witnessed and signed by parent/guardian if applicant is a minor.

The Barbara Tumperi Scholarship: This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded yearly to a high school senior or a student who has been accepted into or who is currently attending an accredited college or technical school in the health care field. Only full time students already accepted into an accredited college will be considered. Applicants must be Georgia residents. This scholarship will be based on scholastic records, character, leadership qualities and participation in student and community activities. Applications will be available at the Information Desk and in the Volunteer office on March 1st and must be completed and returned to us by June 1, 2009.
