A Northside Hospital-Forsyth ("NSF") Volunteer is a member of a team of individuals who serve without salary under staff supervision and direction. Service is of a non-professional nature that adds a most important ingredient to healthcare – love and concern for people. It improves and lightens the burden allowing the professional staff more time for care of patients. A NSF Volunteer, more than any other person on the team, has the opportunity to create an atmosphere of friendliness and goodwill, while serving others with compassion and respect. You contribute to the hospital’s goal of EXCELLENT SERVICE.
