Since the inception of the Auxiliary in 1958, the specific and primary purpose for which the Auxiliary was formed is to further the best interests of NSF and to assist in the promotion of its activities. Through volunteering, fundraising activities and donation of gift shop proceeds, the Auxiliary has fulfilled this purpose for many years. The majority of the funds come from the profits of the gift shops where your patronage is most appreciated. Donations, memorials and fundraisers bring in additional funds each year. Each year, the Auxiliary studies the list of capital expenditures for equipment and improvements planned for the current fiscal year. Appropriate items are considered and approved according to the available funds. The Crafter group continues to meet the needs of the Women’s Center by knitting and crocheting baby hats and blankets. In addition, the Auxiliary supports the community by contributing funds to various charities.
We hope you will consider becoming a member and help us further the mission of the NSF Auxiliary. Dues are $12.00 per year or $100.00 for a life time membership. The continuing growth of our membership has helped the Auxiliary develop into an outstanding organization, and we hope you will join us in this effort.
